| Please if you haven't posted on our kong recruitment forum post - please do so - keeping it at the top of the forum is our best bet getting recruits.
otherwise we might as well as delete it.
Also some whitty banter between officers or posting a funny picture really does help.
Or if you are brain dead:
Some things you can easily copy and paste:
Do you remember when you were a kid, playing Nintendo and it wouldnt work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically fix the problem. Every kid in America did that, but how did we all know how to fix the problem? There was no internet or message boards or FAQs. We just figured it out. Todays kids are soft.
Sometimes, Ill watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what the f *** was going on when I first saw it.
I would rather try to carry 10 plastic grocery bags in each hand than take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.
I think part of a best friends job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.
Was learning cursive really necessary?
Lol has gone from meaning, laugh out loud to I have nothing else to say.
Answering the same letter three times or more in a row on a Scantron test is absolutely petrifying.
Whenever someone says Im not book smart, but Im street smart, all I hear is Im not real smart, but Im imaginary smart.
While driving yesterday I saw a banana peel in the road and instinctively swerved to avoid itthanks Mario Kart.
MapQuest really needs to start their directions on #5. Pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
I find it hard to believe there are actually people who get in the shower first and THEN turn on the water.
Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.
Bad decisions make good stories
Whenever Im Facebook stalking someone and I find out that their profile is public I feel like a kid on Christmas morning who just got the Red Ryder BB gun that I always wanted. 546 pictures? Dont mind if I do!
If Carmen San Diego and Waldo ever got together, their offspring would probably just be completely invisible.
Why is it that during an ice-breaker, when the whole room has to go around and say their name and where they are from, I get so incredibly nervous? Like I know my name, I know where Im from, this shouldnt be a problem.
Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after DVDs? I dont want to have to restart my collection.
Theres no worse feeling than that millisecond youre sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.
Im always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten page research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to.
I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.
When I meet a new girl, Im terrified of mentioning something she hasnt already told me but that I have learned from some light internet stalking.
Sometimes Ill look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.
Even if I knew your social security number, I wouldnt know what do to with it.

| Don't overexert though. Quote from the Tyrant forum rules: - Quote :
- You really should only bump if you have important updates, or you are making a necessary post in your thread. Maybe if it’s been a day or two, you can bump to get active again. But anymore than a few bumps in a row will likely get your thread locked for being an inactive thread, or posts deleted to debump the thread.
As for getting your thread locked – if it is locked for being a spam recruitment thread, you may be limited to only sharing your faction recruitment link in the official stickied recruitment thread located at the top of the forum. You guys are great about flagging posts when need be, so that can easily be monitored.
Faction threads should be used for organizing events, recruiting new members, and discussing faction related matters. Faction threads should not be used simply for advertising your faction, or bumping it over and over.

| Whatever it takes to get it at the top at least for a few hours each day is worth it. All other factions do it - and most have some whitty banter or funny jokes to engage others to post - others not even in the faction so faction members don't have to bump it.
All I'm saying is it doesn't recruit anyone if it is in on page 5 or 10 of the kong forum. And given that only a handful of members actually posted, I don't think we need to discourage faction members from posting something on our recruitment thread.
If our recruitment thread gets locked - I'd be so proud of you guys - it is very easy to make a new one - that being said I see tons of faction recruitment threads get bumped 2-6 times daily with impunity.

| Hey Trevor - the ad at the top of this DW forum topic already has them pm ing me, don't confuse them. Also please take your own recruitment thread down - so we only have one. Plus don't let people know we are 6 short.
We just need testimonials about how much you like the faction - to encourage people to apply. Or a funny joke etc. to get others to be active in this thread - thus keeping us at the top of the forum. The link of our official thread is at the top of this thread - scroll up

| Can someone please bump our recruitment thread please. I've done it a few times but me posting is making it look dull and like we don't have many active officers.
Thanks! | |
